Laura Schewel is cofounder and CEO of StreetLight Data. Laura is an expert in advanced transportation, focusing on transportation systems, sustainability and safety. After completing degrees in engineering and comparative literature at Yale University, she worked at Rocky Mountain Institute, managing various vehicle electrification projects. Next, Laura joined the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to develop regulatory strategy for electric vehicles and energy storage. StreetLight Data is an extension of Laura’s graduate studies at UC Berkeley’s Energy and Resources Group. She is a National Science Foundation Fellow in Energy Engineering, and the author of several publications about sustainable transportation.
