John Dabiri

John Dabiri is a Professor of Aeronautics and Bioengineering at Caltech ~d a 2010 MacArthur Fellow. He graduated from Princeton University with a B.S.E. degree summa cum laude in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in 2001. He earned an M.S. degree in Aeronautics atCaltech, followed by a Ph.D. in Bioengineering with a minor in Aeronautics in 2005. He joined the Caltech faculty the same year. His honors include selection to Popular Science magazine's "Brilliant 10" scientists in 2008, the Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Award in 2008, and the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers in 2010.
