Evans Wadongo is the Chairman and Executive Director of Sustainable Development For All-Kenya (S.D.F.A-Kenya). He has a Bsc. In Electronic and Computer Engineering. When he was19, Wadongo designed a simple solar powered lantern out of mostly recycled materials and he is helping women initiate income generating ventures from funds saved through no longer needing to purchase kerosene. Mr. Wadongo has received various global awards including CNN Hero, Pan Commonwealth Youth Award, Mikhail Gorbachev award, and was recently named among Africa’s ’30 under 30’ best young entrepreneurs by Forbes, among others. He has only been featured in major international media.
